In 1988 Mack Trucks of Australia created a unique way of celebrating the Australian Bi-Centennial year through the creation of sixteen Limited Edition Super-Liners IIs. These trucks were factory fitted with all the latest innovations available at the time; including TV, fridge, integrated sleeper box, sage green velvet interior trim with gold carpet, cruise control and identical paint preparation.
The Limited Edition Super-Liners II were a unique concept; a virtual no expense to be spared project, to produce the best Mack ever made by Mack Trucks of Australia. These trucks were the most time-consuming ever produced by Mack Trucks of Australia. With Mack management’s eventual decision to use vendor components, the Limited Edition Super-Liner II is truly the last of the trucks to say…“ALL MACK BUILT”.
After 20 plus years the unstoppable legendary Limited Edition Super-Liner II has become “Etched in Time” and is a highly sought after collector’s item.
